International Forum «Innovation. Business. Education»
2-3 November 2010
In 2010 the Russian city of Yaroslavl is celebrating its Millennium. The city history is rich with political, economic and cultural events, which were most important for the history of Russia. Today our city is one of the largest business and cultural centers, possessing a deserved influence in the community of Russian cities.
Preparation for the celebration undergoes with a motto: «Yaroslavl: an ancient city heading for the future».
In the framework of Millennium events the Government of Yaroslavl region holds a number of big international actions. One of the major public initiatives will be the International Forum «Innovation. Business. Education», which is planned for 2-3 November 2010 and is timed to coincide with the National Unity Day.
The Forum is aimed at elaboration of suggestions and recommendations on quick transition of regional economy to innovative way of development based on establishing industry-oriented research and production clusters, as well as solving relevant tasks in the spheres of energy efficiency, ecology, and complex use of information and communication technologies for the socio-economic development of the regions.
Main organizers of the Forum are Government of Yaroslavl Region, Yaroslavl Municipal Administration, Council of Rectors of Yaroslavl Region. Federal ministries, leading higher educational institutions, public organizations, associations of industry partners, businessmen, scientists, educators and cultural sphere professionals take part in preparation for the Forum.
Working days of the Forum will be 2 and 3 November. Arrival date – 1 November. A broad range of social events are planned on 4 November for Forum participants and guests.
The following conferences will be held in the framework of the Forum:
- Regional Innovative Strategies as Key Factors of Socio-Economic Development of the Country
- Development of Education in the Current Context: Problems, Prospects, Innovative Approach
- Intellectual Resources of Russian regions
- Libraries and Education
The exhibitions will cover the following areas:
- Yaroslavl is an Ancient City Heading for the Future
- Higher School. Education of 21st Century with a focus on:
- Innovations for business and education
- E-Learning Industry
- Small and medium-sized business developments with a focus on:
- Energy Efficient Technologies in Building and City Economy
- Exhibition of participants of the Second Interregional Competition «University Book – the Golden Ring»
Conference Fee:
Registration fee for the conference is 115 euro. It includes participation in all working sessions, admission to exhibitions, information materials and coffee-breaks.
Participants pay for their accommodation and meals themselves. Organizational committee provides assistance in hotel booking and organizes meals during the conference (lunches, dinners are 4 euro each)

Conference Dinner at Opening of the Conference is optional. The cost is 25 euro.

The cost of additional equipment (PC, additional table, chair, shelves, Internet access) can be found in registration form. A company can book several stands and give its recommendations on their configuration.
Call for papers
You are invited to submit papers or abstracts of your proposed papers (up to 2 À4 pages), as well as your Power Point presentations. They should be sent to: publisher@mubint.ru before October, 15 2010. The Conference Program Committee can make the final decision on the selection of proposed papers.
The cost of publication: 15 euro (1 page), 25 euro (2 pages)
